Assistant Maths Hub Lead for Primary Teaching for Mastery
Are you passionate about mathematics?

Do you have the aspiration to lead and manage change that will impact positively in your own school and other schools across Sussex?
This could be the role for you:
The Maths Hub programme has been supported by the DfE over the last seven years and the Sussex Maths Hub has grown to support maths education from Early Years to FE. The Teaching for Mastery (TfM) approach is having a real tangible impact in primary schools.
Considerable investment has been focused on the TfM agenda in primary schools and as our team of mastery specialists expands and the number of schools engaged in projects increases, we are looking to appoint an Assistant Maths Hub Lead to join our Primary Team.
This is a dynamic leadership responsibility supporting various exciting primary projects in Sussex. The appointment is from September 2022, designated as half a day a week to supporting the TfM primary agenda. Induction and shadowing opportunities could take place during this summer term.
It is important that you have the capacity to take on this role and we advise you to contact your headteacher who will need to confirm your suitability for the role.
This is an excellent professional development opportunity for the right candidate to seek experience of system leadership under the guidance of the NCETM to support future career advancement.
