The Mastery Specialist Programme is now in its fourth year. Each year 140+ primary teachers are recruited, and the programme is aimed at developing the necessary skills and expertise for participants to be awarded the status of primary Mastery Specialist.

Launch Event: Primary Mastery Teacher Research Group PILOT

This event is open to schools that have applied to be in a Primary Teaching for Mastery Work Group 2019-20

We are delighted to invite you to the launch of the programme on Thursday 14th March at 2pm at St Paul’s Catholic College, Jane Murray Way, Burgess Hill, West Sussex RH15 8GA. Please note, both teachers named on the TRG application forms should attend the session.

There will be two parts to the launch event:

2pm – 3:15pm An Introduction to the key principles of Teaching for Mastery. Sharing best practice.
3:15pm-3.35pm Refreshments
3.35pm-4.30pm Project planning and expectations for 2019.
Agreeing dates for future meetings.

The sessions will be led by our Primary Mastery Co-Lead and Specialist teachers. Please bring diaries to the event, as your TRG dates will be set for the spring and summer in these sessions.
