Overview
This FREE course is aimed at:
Primary teaching assistants who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of fractions within the mathematics curriculum to support effective teaching and learning of this concept in their school
During the one day course participants will:
- Deepen and extend their own subject knowledge in relation to fractions
- Explore key elements of fractions outlined within the primary mathematics curriculum and consider the implications for supporting teaching and learning
- Know a range of ways to support children to develop their understanding of fractions
This course is FREE to participants.
Please note that schools can only book a maximum of two TAs.
The closing date for applications is MONDAY 7th OCTOBER.
We anticipate that places for this course will fill very quickly, so would advise early booking to ensure success.
