Pupils develop as confident learners of mathematics, with a positive attitude to the subject
Bringing together mathematics education professionals in a collaborative national network
Following advice from the DfE and NCETM, we have suspended all face-to-face Maths Hub activities until further notice.
It goes without saying, of course, that we recognise you may have several other far higher personal and professional priorities right now so understand if you don’t prioritise Maths Hub engagement at this time.
Take care, from the Sussex Maths Hub team.

Welcome to the Sussex Maths Hub
Welcome to our website, where you can find out about programmes and events for this year and beyond, and become involved in the work of the Sussex Maths Hub.
We are a partnership of schools and colleges – from Early Years and Primary, to Secondary and Further Education – who work together with maths educationalists, researchers and practitioners to improve maths teaching and learning.
At a more cultural level, we want to change perceptions of children and adults towards maths and ensure that everyone has a growth mindset when it comes to numeracy and mathematics. The Sussex Maths Hub is now in its sixth year and we have increased the number of schools, teachers and leaders who have actively taken part in hub activities. We are an inclusive partnership eager to support all schools in Sussex.
We are always keen to share any good maths news you may have during this academic year so please get in touch.
