WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE HUB?

We run many different Work Groups for teachers, teaching assistants and maths leaders, across all phases of education. Each of our projects is led by an expert, with participants contributing to and learning from the Work Group.

    These programmes are designed for primary teaching assistants who are supporting maths, and who would like to develop their specialist knowledge for teaching maths. This may be particularly relevant for new TAs or TAs that have not received maths-specific training.

    This programme supports non-specialist teachers in developing the specialist knowledge (the blend of subject knowledge and pedagogical knowledge) for teaching maths. The Work Group consists of 6 full-day sessions at the University of Chichester - participants must attend all sessions.
