ABOUT OUR HUB
COLLABORATE | ENGAGE | INSPIRE
The Sussex Maths Hub is one of a network of 40 Maths Hubs in England.

The programme is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and coordinated by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM).

Our Maths Hub is based out of St Paul's Catholic College in Burgess Hill, led by Bosco Catholic Education Trust.
We work with various stakeholders across Sussex to improve maths teaching and learning, including schools of all phases, teaching schools, universities and maths organisations.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
To improve mathematics education across Sussex by building strong, collaborative networks that support teachers through developing practice and pedagogy, develop leadership, and promote evidence-informed practice—ensuring every learner has the opportunity to enjoy and succeed in maths.

OUR LLME
In every Maths Hub across the network, there's a group of experienced teachers and education professionals who lead all of the school and professional development run by the Hub. This group is known as Local Leaders of Mathematics Education, or LLME.

In Sussex, our LLME come from wide range of different schools and institutions from across the county. They draw on their experience and expertise to support the work of the Hub, leading our Work Groups and supporting local schools, leaders and teachers.
