LEVEL 3 MATHS LEADERSHIP COMMUNITY

Our Level 3 subject leadership community offers a collaborative network for all Level 3 leaders of Maths to come together at various points throughout the academic year.

This is a great opportunity to share strategic approaches, strengthen curriculum planning and support sustainable development of Level 3 provision within your setting.

These communities will develop a strong collaborative and strategic focus, whilst considering the professional development needs of those teaching at Level 3.

The community, run by the Maths Hubs Programme in partnership with the AMSP, is free to participating schools and colleges.

WHO IS IT FOR?

We are delighted to extend our Level 3 community for all schools and colleges with Post-16 students. You can register your Level 3 maths subject leaders – including head of department, second in department or your KS5 Coordinator (or both) or even additional Level 3 teachers as appropriate.

WHAT'S INVOLVED?

In partnership with the AMSP, the community offers a collaborative network for all Maths departments to build an ongoing learning culture and fostering wider professional relationships and considering the professional development needs of those teaching at Level 3.

  • One face to face session (1 – 4.00pm) on June 29th in Brighton ( BHASVIC) – inclusive of lunch and a hybrid session joining AMSP and national content from 3-4pm.

  • From Autumn 2026 onwards, six online twilight meetings (4–5.30pm each half term) with guest speakers sharing ideas, resources, and approaches for Level 3 maths.

  • An online Basecamp group for sharing resources, asking questions, and discussing topics raised in meetings. All participants are encouraged to use what they learn to support and develop Level 3 maths in their institutions.

WHAT IS THE COST?

The Level 3 Subject Leaders Community is fully funded by the Maths Hubs Programme so is completely free to participating state-funded schools. If you are from an Independent School/College and are interested in joining this Community, please get in touch for fee information.
